STPD exists to help organisations get delivery moving again — especially when complexity, unclear ownership, or internal friction has caused things to slow down or stop.

We work with teams caught in project overload, under pressure to deliver without the time, tools, or clarity to do it well. STPD brings structure, direction, and a focus on real business outcomes — not just tick-box reporting.

Why We Do It

We’ve seen too many organisations tied in knots by process-heavy frameworks, siloed teams, and project management methods that focus more on templates than value.

We believe most delivery problems aren’t caused by laziness or incompetence — they’re systemic. Things fall through the cracks because people are stretched thin, communication breaks down, and no one’s quite sure what “done” really looks like.

STPD was built to cut through that — using a systems thinking lens to simplify, connect, and deliver.

Our Approach

We don’t come in with a fixed model or pre-packaged solution. Every engagement is different — and so are the needs.

Sometimes that means a few days a week of steady support. Sometimes it’s leading a programme turnaround. Sometimes it’s just sitting down with the team and helping them see what’s getting in their way.

We flex based on what’s useful — and step back when we’re no longer needed.

Led by Jamie Loft

STPD is led by Jamie Loft, a delivery consultant with over 25 years of experience working across sectors including infrastructure, cloud, public sector transformation, and enterprise technology change. His background includes direct delivery, supplier management, and recovery of high-risk projects.

Jamie combines traditional programme experience with a deep grounding in systems thinking, making STPD uniquely equipped to help when things aren’t working — or when you just need a steady hand to move things forward.
